New Product Release: Vertex-6 and Yiklong YK4061 Rockslide - Battery Trays and TrailVault Receiver Cases

We are excited to officially release our new battery tray and TrailVault receiver case system designed specifically for the RedCat Vertex-6 and Yikong YK4061 Rockslide.

These designs were created to solve a common frustration with both platforms: limited space, poor water management, and the tiny stock receiver box. This new system lets you clean up your electronics layout, run the batteries you actually want to use, and gain better protection for your receiver without sacrificing space or serviceability.

Designed for Real Trail Use

Our redesigned battery trays focus on practical improvements you can actually feel on the trail. Integrated water drainage channels and drain holes help shed moisture during wet runs. Built-in battery sizing walls keep different battery sizes secure and prevent unwanted movement when crawling over rough terrain.

Extra clearance around the motor and slipper clutch bolts eliminates interference issues common with the stock tray. We also added additional tray height to keep the battery strap and velcro away from the slipper clutch bolts, reducing wear and making battery swaps quicker and easier.

TrailVault Receiver Protection

The TrailVault receiver cases are designed to replace the small stock receiver box with a more usable, better-protected solution. TrailVaults provide additional internal space for modern receivers and wiring while helping keep water and debris out during normal trail use.

During testing, the TrailVault was submerged with two servo wires installed and remained dry for the duration of the test ( 5-minutes). As with any sealed electronics enclosure, water resistance depends on proper assembly and wire routing, and full waterproofing is not guaranteed.

Modular Options for Your Build

This release includes multiple tray and TrailVault combinations so you can choose what works best for your setup. Whether you want a compact mini tray, support for larger batteries, or a standalone TrailVault while keeping the stock tray, there is a configuration that fits your needs.

All parts are designed for easy installation and clean integration with the Vertex-6 and Rockslide YK4061 platforms.
